The 8842K flow lock wheel assembly kit will include the wheel handle, screw, and the connecting piece to connect the handle to the hydrant head. The flow lock wheel is designed to lock the hydrant handle into a open position without the handle falling down. Without this assembly the weight of the cast iron hydrant handle will cause the handle to fall, and shutoff the hydrant.
