The 8823 is the brass extension rod found in the Simmons models 800, 4800, and 5800. The extension rod connects from the bottom side of the pivot connecter down to the metal coupling. This extension rod also connects to the coupling that connects the long pump rod. The rod measures approximately 4 5/16", and connects to the 7/16" coupler.
