Simmons Genuine 840SB Lead Free Yard Hydrant Head Complete

The 840SB is the lead free version of the Simmons 840 yard hydrant head. This means that the  components that come in contact with water supply contain less than .05% lead. The hose thread adapter on the spout is made out of aluminum, while the adapter of the standard 840 is made out of brass. This hydrant head is designed for the Simmons model 800 hydrants, which have the finger grips in the handle. The head comes complete with the hose thread adapter, 2 draw straps, pivot connector, adjustment screw, packing nut, packing washers, and the handle, and the bolt and nut for the handle. The packing washers will already be installed when you receive it. The 840SB is made to fit 3/4 inch hydrants. The inner diameter of the threads that connect the head to the pipe measures approximately 1 5/16 inches.
